Teri Nielsen
- MA, LMHC
A Licensed Psychotherapist
and Board Certified Counselor in the state
of Washington. Teri received her Masters
Degree from Antioch/New England Graduate
School of Psychology, with postgraduate training
in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has 29 years of clinical
experience including in-patient and out-patient psychiatric work
with adults, adolescents, and children.
Teri is a seasoned, highly intuitive
therapist with a broad clinical background and education.
She is a clinical member of the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study and the C. G. Jung Association in Seattle. She is able to bridge traditional psychological counseling with a holistic, wellness approach, which makes her counseling services unique.
On a personal note
Teri has a great love for the mountains, the desert,
and especially southern Utah. In 1992, she began practicing Vipassana,
a form of sitting/walking meditation, and maintains
this practice as the foundation of her life's
journey.
