Teri Nielsen
- MA, LMHC
A Licensed Psychotherapist
and Board Certified Counselor in the state
of Washington. Teri received her Masters
Degree from Antioch/New England Graduate
School of Psychology, with postgraduate training
in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has 29 years of clinical
experience including in-patient and out-patient psychiatric work
with adults, adolescents, and children.
Teri is a seasoned, highly intuitive
therapist with a broad clinical background and education.
She is a clinical member of the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study and C. G. Jung Association in Seattle. She is able to bridge psychological counseling with holistic wellness approaches, which make her counseling services unique.
On a personal note
Teri has a great love for the mountains, the desert,
and especially southern Utah. In 1993, she began practicing Vipassana,
a form of sitting/walking meditation, and maintains
this practice as the foundation of her life's
work.
